Unfortunately mid way in we lost Frosty to Colic.
Bobby Bo Bird (AKA - Frosty)
From the obstacles to the arena to the pastures to the mountains, this is one solid minded horse. Serious no funny business gelding, he looks for the next step and journey ahead.
Starting out there were plenty of communication errors between human and equine, his thought process was more of the flight side of his brain. He struggled to understand why there needed to be calm communication. Once communication was understood he couldn’t get enough of the time we were spending together. Consistently being right there at the gate to meet you, when he wasn’t the one chosen first thing the confusion set in.
The first saddle was the scariest thing to him, after he accepted he wanted more, so we rode. Starting out small 4 miles and graduating 30 days in to 20 mile rides per day he excels and looks for more when we return.
Standing tied is no big deal for him. Easy keep and always in your pocket this dude wants and needs a steady job. Put an obstacle in front of him, show him what you want he will follow, ask him for the same thing he will succeed.
Bred for the cowy side of things, Frosty is very intrigued about the cows, when exploring them he moves in to understand them. Patients are a virtue and have figured out that communication is the sole basis to everything that he does.
This big hearted, motivated, collected mover is going to excel at whatever is thrown at him.
