All horses that are staying with Five Point Horse Training are required to have an up to date record of Vaccines. Also a copy of ownership ( papers & Brand inspection, if from a brand state, Current Coggins Required as well)
Requirements
- All riders must sign a release of liability.
- A current negative Coggins test is required.
- If the horse’s owner is a minor, a parent or guardian responsible for payment of charges must sign these agreements.
- All horses in training must have contract, and payment in full or agreement on file prior to check-in. Horses coming in without the above will not be accepted. No exceptions.
- Payments are to be paid per agreement on time or late fees will be added.
- Horses will not leave premises until full payment is received and paid.

30 days:
What to Expect: Working on the lunge line and at liberty well work on ground work and forward motion. They will be fully tacked up. Starting them on ground driving to get used to the bit and understand the controls. They will be started in an o-ring snaffle. Once comfortable with this, Ill mount up. When the first and following rides come horse will have the rider to get used to, the other basics are there. |
60 days:
What to Expect: Continuing from 30 days, they move forward with little to no resistance, left and right and backing. Controlling the five points of the body which include, moving off the hindquarters and forequarters, controlling their rib cage and keeping there polls and mouths soft. Loping collected circles and on the correct leads. |
90 days :
What to Expect: Horse's are soft, handling well and responding to ques well. Collected and willing, simple lead changes and on the correct leads loping and there ready to start in any specializing you would like to go. |
REFRESHER:
Basic tune up, horse must have minimum of 90 rides to have a refresher course.
